Didn't it ever happen to you that you were applying your makeup in peace when the bottle of liquid foundation dropped off and spilled on your skirt? Or when you're doing your makeup and some eyeshadow dust gets on your shirt or crop top?

This will undoubtedly be a frustrating situation, right? "Why always with me?" you may wonder.

Well, makeup may be a pain at times. But it doesn't imply we'll stop doing makeup. It’s a fun way to express yourself while also being an art form. So, if this sort of situation occurs, don't consider giving up makeup, okay?

Here are seven simple yet effective homemade items for removing makeup from your favorite outfit.

Makeup Wipe can be a Rescuer

Did you know that makeup wipes not only remove makeup from your face, but they also assist in removing makeup from your clothes? So, if you've unintentionally spilled makeup on your clothes, use a makeup wipe and gently dab or massage until the stain is gone.

However, while utilizing makeup wipes, keep in mind that this approach works best on a new stain that hasn't dried off yet. If the stain has been there for a long time, makeup wipes will not work for you.

Shaving Cream

Have you ever considered how useful your boyfriend or husband's shaving cream may be to you? "How can this be possible?" you may be asking.

It is, after all, doable! Shaving cream is absolutely a miracle product for removing makeup from clothing. Apply one or two squirts of your man's shaving foam to the stain. Wait for ten to fifteen minutes before rinsing the cream with cool water.

Rubbing Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol is the third method for removing makeup stains from clothing. A cotton ball and rubbing alcohol are all that are required.

Dab the cotton ball on the affected area after dipping it in rubbing alcohol. Because it contains alcohol, which can quickly break down greasy and waxy blemishes, this approach is good for removing lipstick stains off apparel.

Blow Dryer

Using powder products during makeup application may be highly messy. You will undoubtedly drop some loose powder on your clothes, no matter how careful you are.

So, what would you do in such a situation?

Turn on your blow dryer and blast the powder off the cloth! And you are now ready to go.

Hairspray

Hairspray, like rubbing alcohol, is effective in removing lipstick color from fabrics. But you'll need a hairspray with high alcohol content. An alcohol-free hairspray will not help to erase stains.

Apply the hairspray immediately to the affected area and allow it to dry for a few minutes. Now, wipe it away with a makeup wipe.

Use Ice

If you have makeup stains on your clothes, ice cubes might help you get rid of them. Rub an ice cube in that area. After that, wash the material as normal.

Instead of utilizing hot water, cold water or ice works well in these situations. Hot water, believe it or not, spreads the stain even more. That's why you should use ice or cold water.

Soap and Water

If you don't have any of the following items at home, simply use soap and water. To begin, dampen the afflicted area with a modest bit of water. Then dab the soap on the material and massage it together. Rub it until the spots are completely gone.
