With a quick designation of all 9 Demon Slayer Hashira – Ranked, you will be able to get a brief idea as to which Hashira might be the most likely to become a central character in the next season of Demon Slayer even. Simply keep reading below to all about this!
Shinobu Kocho – Insect Hashira
Being the insect Hashira, Shinobu is quite possibly the weakest Hashira out of all the nine, she however relies on poison made from materials such as Wisteria to kill demons as she is incapable of cutting a demon’s head.
However, this doesn’t mean Shinobu is a Hashira by name only, she is perfectly capable of taking down high-level demons using her intelligence and wits instead.
That is why Shinobu, while weak in terms of physical strength, is quite clearly different from others as she relies on her mind to fight instead and deserves to be a demon slayer Hashira.
Muichiro Tokito – Mist Hashira
While not much is currently known about Muichiro Tokito aside from his rather apathetic personality which may show hints of emotions at times.
He has been said to have reached the ranking of a Hashira only after two months of joining the Demon Corps, indicating him to be one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira to have done so.
Mitsuri Kanroji – Love Hashira
She may look petite and quite possibly adorable, but her very ranking as a Hashira makes it clear that she is not someone to be taken lightly of.
However, her reason for joining the Demon Corps was more for personal matters than outright tragedy, this however seems to currently be unfulfilled for her. Her strength as a Hashira on the other hand makes her one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira.
Tengen Uzui – Sound Hashira
Befitting his title, Tengen Uzui is quite possibly one of the fastest Hashira in terms of speed. He is quite possibly one of the most charming Hashira seen on the show, having a harem of wives and cracking a one-liner even under fatal situations (against Gyutaro, the Upper-Rank Six).
Tengen proves himself to be a terrifying opponent as he stands resolute in the face of death and is one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira for this very reason.
Obanai Iguro – Serpent Hashira
While not much is known about Obanai at the time of Season 2 due to not having much exposition, he has been shown to have a profound hate for weakness and demons in general (this includes Nezuko).
the fact that he considered Gyutaro (an Upper-Rank Six) to be a lowly demon and was more or less mocking Tengen for having barely won against him implies that Obanai may as well be a strong demon slayer Hashira.
Giyu Tomioka – Water Hashira
The very first Hashira introduced in the series and quite possibly the one who saved and inspired Tanjiro to be more determined in his journey to save Nezukoa, Giyu Tomioka is one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira as he was easily able to take out Rui of the Lower Six. This was when Tanjiro was still unable to fight the demon himself.
Giyu, however, seems to live more in isolation and away from the Hashira as he constantly is traveling more or less and is one of the Hashira who treats Nezuko Kamado, sister of Tanjiro, as a human and is willing to vouch for her humanity even if she is a demon.
Sanemi Shinazugawa – Wind Hashira
Sanemi, while his combat abilities haven’t been seen yet, his blood being of the rare type and having a special smell that can cause demons to irresistibly be attracted to it may just make him one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira as he can easily utilize this technique to kill demons who are distracted.
His personality on the other hand is a complement to his abilities as he is simultaneously ruthless to the core, shown by his hatred of Nezuko as a demon.
Rengoku Kyojiro – Flame Hashira
Rengoku Kyojiro is one of the calmer Hashira in terms of temperament despite his title as the Flame Hashira. He utilizes his flame breathing techniques to effectively incinerate his opponents and is a terrifying opponent against a demon.
This is shown even more in the Mugen Train arc of season 2 and the movie, Rengoku not only took on Akaza, an Upper Rank 3 but wounded him badly enough and caused him to run away, something that is noteworthy considering how powerful Akaza is. This makes Rengoku one of the strongest demon slayer Hashira due to his abilities.
Gyomei Himejima – Stone Hashira
Despite his intimidating stature and strength, Gyomei Himejima is one of the most emotional Hashira of the group, even shedding tears at times during tragedy.
Gyomei hasn’t been shown in combat yet, but the very fact that he is considered to be the leader of the Hashira and is outright respected speaks a lot about his power.
Not only that, but he was also the other Hashira who become one in just two months after joining the Demon Slayer Corps and is endorsed by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. This makes Gyomei Himejima the strongest demon slayer Hashira out of all the nine.
