This change and/or help organizations to have broader ways of how to get things done based on their employee diversity. As part of a diversified organization it is important to know how to communicate in the best way to avoid conflicts (CrossCulture, n.d.).
CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATION IMPORTANT METHODS
Due to people of different cultures being part of an organization it is essential to know how to communicate with one another. For this to be effectively done, it is important to know the methods of communication for cross cultural. First, it is important to be aware that every culture is different and they have their own way of getting things done. Secondly, prepare yourself by getting information about the other person’s culture. For example, is it ethical to call the person by his/her last name, or is it ethical to shake hands ?. Thirtly, if meeting someone from not the same country as you, language and expressions plays a role. Being misunderstood is not a great part of a conversation, interpreting words can be ideal to understand better what is being said. Another reason for being informed and to use the correct language is because humor is often not welcome when communicating business with another culture. TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IN THE WORKPLACE ACROSS CULTURE
As having a multicultural organization it is essential to know how to start the correct process to meet all the methods mentioned above. When communicating, know in advance what tool brings the best result. For example, having a meeting via an online platform may not get sufficient attention, and is not as easy as an in-person meeting. Tools for better communication in a multicultural workplace is:

Team meetings: Can be a specific day where employees get the chance to ask questions and get more information about certain topics.

1:1 Feedback: Give the chance to connect and understand each other point of view on certain situations.

Cross Cultural Collaboration/Teamwork: Give opportunities to work together to know everyone's way of work and what they are best in.
Using these tools gives the employees the power to have better elements of communication, which is claiming clarity, solving conflicts, and exchanging information respectively among employees. Also, boosts employee engagement, encourages them to communicate more effectively, reduces organizational conflicts, and most importantly builds a healthy workplace and organizational culture (Martins, 2022).
